Three_Women_Breast_Cancer.jpeg   Cancer is the 2nd leading cause of death in the United States and Kansas for both men and women. More than 15,000 Kansans are diagnosed with cancer each year, and approximately 5,500 die from the disease. Although individuals can take steps to reduce their risk of developing cancers, public health approaches in tandem with health systems have the potential to reduce risks among entire populations.
