Hospital Quality Leaders Complete National Fellows Program
More than 30 Kansas hospital leaders were recently recognized for their completion of a national fellowship program in quality and patient safety, announced the Kansas Healthcare Collaborative.
Two fellowship programs were offered in 34 states this year by the Health Research and Educational Trust for hospitals participating in its Hospital Improvement Innovation Network, a national patient safety initiative administered by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and its Partnership for Patients program.
Kansas hospital personnel rank among top in the nation for getting influenza vaccinations
More hospital personnel in Kansas are protecting themselves and their patients from the flu each year, placing Kansas among the top in the nation. The annual Health Care Personnel (HCP) Influenza Immunization Survey, conducted by Kansas Healthcare Collaborative (KHC), found that 93.6 percent of hospital personnel in Kansas received influenza vaccination during the 2016-17 flu season.

The Kansas PTN Annual Learning Event was a one-day program available at no charge for participating practices of Kansas PTN and was approved for Continuing Education Credits. The event was held October 18, 2017 at the Rolling Hills Zoo and Conference Center in Salina.
