Breast and cervical cancer are leading causes of death among women worldwide, but early detection and treatment can significantly improve outcomes. By offering regular screenings and follow-up care to women in your community, you can play a critical role in reducing the impact of these diseases.
KHC is currently seeking clinicians and practices with an innovative spirit who wish to increase their breast and cervical cancer screening rates through implementing Evidence-based Interventions (EBIs). KHC, in conjunction with KDHE, assists providers in increasing their cancer screening rates through clinical assessment, feedback and technical assistance activities, thus ensuring women receive the care they need.
Benefits to Clinics:
- Training and education for clinic staff on breast and cervical cancer screening guidelines and best practices
- Patient education materials and outreach tools to increase awareness and encourage participation
- Assistance with tracking and reporting screening rates to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement

- Low Income
- Underinsured or no insurance. Underinsured are those that have deductibles of $2,500 or more
